Sheedy Bearings, fitted with Fechnerplas (F20)-(A or
B), that can be used in low and high temperature with
no lubrication.
We make Sheedy 1000 Bearings to interchange with most
bearings, cam rollers and cam followers. We also design
and build special bearings to suit customers' requirements.
Sheedy Bearings are made from 316 and 420 stainless
steel or 4140 high tensile steel which we vacuum harden,
then electroless nickel and then harden again. This
gives us a surface hardness in excess of 55 (RC).
This
hardness and the corrosion protection allows the Sheedy
1000 (F20) Bearing to be used in environments where
other bearings fail or have to be protected. Sheedy
Bearings technology sets new standards for self lubricating
composites with the introduction of Fechnerplas (F20)
(A or B).

Our
stocks of the 1000 Range are limited at the moment but
we are slowly building up stocks so we can give off-the-shelf
service. Our stock holdings increase with orders; as
a customer orders a new size that we have not made before,
we make extra for stock. At the moment we are quoting
28 days from placement of an order on specials or new
sizes.
